Memorial Park (Otsego Township Park)

This 9 acre park features pavilions, picnic tables, a playground, grills, a basketball court, baseball diamond and more! The little ones will love a small splash pad to play in on those hot days. A nature trail is also located across from the large pavilion.

Pigeon River Country State Forest

This forest stretches over 106,700 acres of state land. This pristine wilderness offers hiking, mountain biking, fishing, wildlife viewing and more. With abundant, winding trails and lakes stocked with fish, you can lose yourself for hours in this untouched paradise.

Aspen Park

Paved and unpaved trails for walking, biking and in-line skating are well suited for family adventures close to downtown Gaylord. Trails are groomed in the winter for cross-country skiing or break your own trail on a pair of snow shoes. The entire park is lit until 11:00 p.m. year round.

Gaylord's City Elk Park

The City of Gaylord feeds and maintains an elk herd and provides viewing areas for the public to stop and watch these magnificent animals. Under the City’s care, roughly 40+ elk can be viewed from near the Elk’s Lodge off Grandview Blvd.

Otsego Lake State Park

This 62-acre park is heavily shaded with large oak, maple and pine trees and is known for its beautiful sandy beach. There is a swimming beach and day-use area with picnic tables, grills, a floating fishing pier and water volleyball. Pet-friendly shoreline.

Otsego Lake County Park

Gaylord's Otsego Lake County Park offers fun for the whole family - a beach / swim area, a boat launch, a picnic area (also 2 Pavilions available for rent), playground, volleyball, horseshoe pits, and more. They also have options for kayak rentals seasonally.
